Advances in Filtration Technology for Health and Sustainability
Filtration plays an increasingly important role in meeting two of the most critical issues of our time, protecting human health and helping meet the carbon reduction goals needed for climate sustainability. Advances in filtration technology are helping meet these needs. New filtration media, sensing devices, and filter or filtration system designs are promoting the filtration industry in delivering higher levels of sustainable filtration performance, cleaning the air we breathe and the water we drink. Moreover, since filtration processes consume large amounts of energy, new technologies enable significant reductions in energy consumption, which is required to overcome the filter media or filter elements' resistance to deliver higher and higher levels of filtration performance.
This presentation will review some recent developments in advanced filtration technologies for healthy and sustainable solutions and discuss the global filtration industry's opportunities and trends.
